Having an Inner Ear Infection, Dizziness, and Vertigo

My inner ear infection started like this...

I was doing work at my computer desk and felt a "surge" straight through my head for a second, like someone pushed my head to the side.

The Tricycle

I stopped for a second and opinion to myself..."wooo, that was weird dizzy feeling." And went back to work.

I think it happened again that same day and I opinion the same thing.

Well, the next day it happened again while I was at my computer desk and I opinion the same thing...."woooo dizzy again." Maybe I was working too hard.

An hour or so later, the same feeling, like my head was being pushed to the side.

"Everyone gets a dizzy feeling" I opinion to myself, but I meant like once or twice a year. This seemed to be arrival on a regular basis.

This prolonged for an additional one day or 2 with those "jolts" of dizziness. It happened once when I was away from my desk and by now it was a feeling I was customary with. I mentioned these dizzy feelings to my wife as I was becoming involved and she replied "We'll have to watch that".

Well the next day, I forgot exactly when, all of a sudden the jolts increased but even worse was the strange feeling that came on inside me.

It is so hard to explain, as I never had a feeling like that. Almost like your chest is shaking. The inside of your chest. Nothing that would be visible to anyone. It is feeling of panic and dread.

I had to sit down and then eventually lie down. My wife was there and was involved "Telling me to lie down". So I did, for a while. I felt a diminutive better so I got back up. But it came back. This odd feeling surging straight through my body.

I remember trying to put my son's tricycle together and all I could focus on was how weird I felt. My heart would feel like it was racing, I would feel flushed, but not really...so hard to describe!

Well the bike didn't get finished. I had to stop as the strange feelings increased and got worse again.

That was it. My labyrinthitis / vestibular neuritis had shown itself. And it was to remain with me a long long time.

I felt like I was having a heart attack.

If you have ever read about the symptoms of a heart attack or heard anything characterize the symptoms, it is easy to understand why.

I had some pains in my chest. I had a pain in my left arm. I was panicked. I had this feeling of dread. It was horrible, It was like my body was racing, heart pounding, blood flowing, just horrific.

I forgot exactly when the dizziness increased but it doesn't matter. All I know is, what were once diminutive jolts a few times a day was now a jolt every 20 seconds or so.

I never nothing else but industrialized that constant spinning feeling, like you do when you turn yourself nearby for 10 times nothing else but quickly and then stop. The classic vertigo sensation.

My dizziness was like this...

I felt as if someone every so often would push my head to the side, or push it down towards the ground. Except of policy there was nobody touching my head.

Sometimes it felt like an elephant was standing on my head for a second, the pressure was that great.

A jolt is the best way to characterize my feelings of dizziness. Each jolt lasted a second and they happened every 20 seconds or so.

Sometimes I would go longer in the middle of jolts, like nearby a diminutive or so. But, it was all the time there.

I suffered from nausea that seemed to Almost be constant. I never vomited, though I came close once while in the bathroom.

This was my initial episode.

There is more to my story, but that can give you a good overview and for those of you who have this illness, I'm sure you can identify.

There are some people who get over this illness in 10-14 days. Then there are the other people who suffer the ultra-strange symptoms, feelings, anxiety, pain, etc for months if not years.

By applying my knowledge of nourishment and condition along with dietary supplements, changes, and unavoidable movement exercises, I was able to get over this illness.

When I started nothing else but going strong with my own regimen, the illness faded quicker and I saw real improvement in a shorter whole of time than was taking place before.

You can overcome your illness. I am proof. Other people have been documented to get over this illness also. So there is hope.

Bike tool Choices For Your Ironman Triathlon

Without a doubt the bike-equipment you pick can greatly influence the outcome of your first Ironman Triathlon.

However, don't believe for a occasion that the more costly the bike, the easier and faster your bike split will be. The most leading factor--and one that is often overlooked--is having the bike you pick sized just for you. Most bike outlets will furnish this service. I just can't stress how leading this is. A permissible fit means you will be getting full use of the permissible muscle groups and will have a smooth, circular pedal stroke. Most importantly, it can make for a much more comfortable transition into the run.

The Tricycle

Also, when you consider it, there's not much point in spending thousands of dollars more for a bike because it is a pound or two lighter when you're going to be packing five pounds of water and food on it for the race. For your first Ironman I would recommend a good reliable mid-priced bike. You can all the time upgrade if you pick to continue on with the sport in the following years.

Here's something to think about. In 1984, on a brutally hot and windy day while the Kona Ironman, there were two cyclists under the 5 hour mark. Dave Scott was 5:11 and went on to run a 2:53 marathon and ultimately won the race. My point is, pretty well any mid-range priced bike you buy will be 10 times better than what these guys raced on that day. Think about it. Aerobars would have been Huge that day. There was no such thing. Every person had the old toe clips. The bikes were Much heavier. The tires were nowhere near as good as we can get now. There is just no comparison.

Ultimately your training and unabridged preparation---your athletic ability, and your courage are equally leading ingredients to a victorious Ironman bike ride.

Its about more than just the bike.

Profile Bars- I don't believe they've invented an Ironman race yet that has no wind. Profile bars are a "must" to sacrifice wind resistance and conserve your vigor for the upcoming marathon. If possible, try and have your shift levers mounted at the very front of your profile bars where your hands meet. That way you're not sitting up or reaching down to shift gears. I have something called "swift shifters." They are just exquisite for the Ironman bike leg.

Cycle Computer-Some bike computers have way too many functions. All you need is cadence, speed, and an odometer to tell how far you've gone. That way you're not forever pushing buttons to find the permissible setting.

Clipless Pedals And Shoes To Fit-These were just a great invention. They are so easy to get in and out of and allow for a much smoother and more prudent pedal stroke than the old clips we started out with. Its Very leading to have the tension set just right. You want to be able to get into them easily, yet not have your foot snap out at the worst possible time.(Like climbing a hill for instance). If you ski, its sort of the same idea as ski bindings. Just keep experimenting with it until you have to give your ankle a fairly quick, sharp twist for your shoe to come away from the pedal. That way you know its not set to loose. Also, make sure the bike has forward momentum when twisting out of the pedal. If you are approximately stopped you could fall right over.

Bottle Cages-Personally, I carry 4 water bottles. One inside the handlebars with a flexible plastic straw so I can drink without removing the bottle, one in the appropriate position on the frame, and a two bottle cage behind the seat. The water bottle on the frame and the two behind the seat were for my replacement drink...Gatorade etc. The bottle with the plastic straw was water. It has a top that snaps open, but stays attached and at aid stations I can just refill it with water if needed. When I wanted a replacement drink, I would take it from the bottle on the bike frame. When it was empty I would switch it with a full bottle from behind the seat. If I plan I would need more than three bottles of my replacement drink, I would leave one or two at the extra needs station.

***If what you usually use for a replacement drink is being supplied on the race course, then you can do away with the two bottles behind your seat and just keep changing the bottle on the bike frame at the aid stations. Most of the time it was garorade or something else I didn't use and I would just bring my own.

Helmet-You can't race without one, so just find one that is comfortable, fits you well, and meets all safety standards. Remember, if its too loose, it will fall over your eyes when you lean forward into the profile position and that will drive you crazy. Also make sure it can be done up and undone easily.

Sunglasses-This is one piece of bike-equipment you Must have for your Ironman training and racing. And I don't well care if they cost .99 or 9. Just make sure you wear sunglasses to safe your eyes. Say you're going downhill at 40 mph. And the bee advent towards you is travelling 25 mph. When he hits your unprotected eye. That could be Really, well Serious!! all the time wear sunglasses and a helmet. Sun or not!! I found that yellow tinted sunglasses are exquisite for overcast days.

I can think of at least 8 or 10 times over the years that something has hit my sunglasses hard sufficient to do lots of damage if I my eyes were unprotected.

Hopefully these few tips will help you in your bike equipment choices.

The English Language in the Philippines

When planning to visit the Philippines, one might be a bit anxious or even nervous because Filipino (Tagalog) is the national language of the Philippines. However, it might be a relief to know that English is regarded as the country's second language, therefore one will find that many Filipinos can speak and understand English. For the most part, English speaking tourists do not have to worry that a language barrier may cause problems during their vacation. That being said, it will still be to ones advantage to also learn (Filipino) Tagalog, which is the national language.

The use and influence of the English language in the Philippines can be attributed to the American influence in the Philippines because for a time the Philippines was colonized by America. Today in the Philippines, American influence can be seen in daily life in such things as food, the music that is listened to, and the programs on television. Moreover, American products are widely available.

The Tricycle

The English language in the Philippines is often used along with Tagalog. As a consequent you will find that habitancy mix English with Tagalog. This is generally called Taglish.

The 2009 Report on Frames, Forks, and Similar Parts for Bicycles, Unicycles, and Adult Tricycles: World Market Segmentation by City Best

Rate This Product :

The 2009 Report on Frames, Forks, and Similar Parts for Bicycles, Unicycles, and Adult Tricycles: World Market Segmentation by City Overview

This report was created for global strategic planners who cannot be content with traditional methods of segmenting world markets. With the advent of a "borderless world", cities become a more important criteria in prioritizing markets, as opposed to regions, continents, or countries. This report covers the top 2000 cities in over 200 countries. It does so by reporting the estimated market size (in terms of latent demand) for each major city of the world. It then ranks these cities and reports them in terms of their size as a percent of the country where they are located, their geographic region (e.g. Africa, Asia, Europe, Middle East, North America, Latin America), and the total world market.

In performing various economic analyses for its clients, I have been occasionally asked to investigate the market potential for various products and services across cities. The purpose of the studies is to understand the density of demand within a country and the extent to which a city might be used as a point of distribution within its region. From an economic perspective, however, a city does not represent a population within rigid geographical boundaries. To an economist or strategic planner, a city represents an area of dominant influence over markets in adjacent areas. This influence varies from one industry to another, but also from one period of time to another.

In what follows, I summarize the economic potential for the world's major cities for "frames, forks, and similar parts for bicycles, unicycles, and adult tricycles" for the year 2009. The goal of this report is to report my findings on the real economic potential, or what an economist calls the latent demand, represented by a city when defined as an area of dominant influence. The reader needs to realize that latent demand may or may not represent real sales.

English is also the customary medium of schooling in the country in elementary school, high school, college, and beyond. Almost all the subjects are discussed in English, with the irregularity of the Filipino subject, which is taught in the Filipino language.

There are schools that encourage students to express themselves in English while on campus and whenever talking to those in authority. In some families, parents teach their children at an early age to speak and use English in daily conversations.

In the Philippine islands different languages are spoken, therefore, Filipinos who voyage to someone else region of the country where a different dialect or language is spoken will find that they can retell with fellow Filipinos using whether the Filipino language (Tagalog) or the English language. That is if they do not speak the local language.

Some words used in Filipino were borrowed from English. Some borrowed words cannot be directly translated into Filipino so they are used as is but may be spelled in Filipino agreeing to their pronunciation. Some of the English words that are used in Filipino include words such as: printer, fax, bar, and cell phone. Other generally used English words in Tagalog include: hello, hi, escalator, and so on..

In the Tagalog language, there are also English words that are spelled agreeing to their pronunciation when used in Filipino. Examples of these words are telebisyon (television), oben (oven), and kamera (camera). There are countless others but here are a few more: traysikel (tricycle), dyip (jeep), and miting (meeting).

It is a good idea and might be advantageous to learn even basic Tagalog or words from the dialect spoken in the region one is visiting. At some point knowing the language could come in handy. For instance, if you go off the beaten path you might find that you are more at ease due to the added peace of mind of knowing that you can retell with locals, in Tagalog or someone else dialect; when necessary.

The 2009 World Market Forecasts for Imported Doll Carriages and Wheeled Toys Designed to Be Ridden by Children, Bicycles, Tricycles, Scooters, and Pedal Cars Overview

This report was created for strategic planners, international marketing executives and export managers whose primary concern is the world market for doll carriages and wheeled toys designed to be ridden by children, bicycles, tricycles, scooters, and pedal cars. With the globalization of this market, managers can no longer be contented with a local view. Nor can managers be contented with out-of-date statistics that appear several years after the fact. I have developed a methodology, based on macroeconomic and trade models, to estimate the market for doll carriages and wheeled toys designed to be ridden by children, bicycles, tricycles, scooters, and pedal cars for those firms serving the world via exports and foreign direct investment. It does so for the current year based on a variety of key historical indicators and econometric models. In what follows, this report begins by summarizing the world exporter's market for doll carriages and wheeled toys designed to be ridden by children, bicycles, tricycles, scooters, and pedal cars. The total level of exports on a worldwide basis is based on a model that aggregates across over 150 key country markets and projects these to the current year. From there, each country represents a percent of the world market. This market is served from a number of competitive countries of origin. Based on supply-side dynamics, market shares by country of origin are then calculated across each country market. These shares lead to a volume of import values for each country and are aggregated to regional and world totals. In doing so, we are able to obtain maximum likelihood estimates of both the value of each market and the shares that competitors (countries serving that market) are likely to receive this year. From these figures, world rankings are calculated to allow managers to prioritize markets. In this way, all the figures provided in this report are forecasts that can be combined with internal information for strategic planning

The 2009 Report on Wheel Rims and Spokes for Bicycles, Unicycles, and Adult Tricycles: World Market Segmentation by City Overview

In what follows, I summarize the economic potential for the world's major cities for "wheel rims and spokes for bicycles, unicycles, and adult tricycles" for the year 2009. The goal of this report is to report my findings on the real economic potential, or what an economist calls the latent demand, represented by a city when defined as an area of dominant influence. The reader needs to realize that latent demand may or may not represent real sales.

Ear Devices as Hyperacusis Treatment:

Another way to gain hyperacusis rehabilitation is straight through the use of ear devices like ear plugs and sound generators or maskers. Ear plugs are beneficial in such a way that the noise the outpatient is exposed to is decreased. However, there are theories saying that long-term use of these ear devices is not good since they can only make hyperacusis aggravated. Being exposed to noise has a habituating consequent and this consequent may be lessened by reducing the sounds or noise. On the other hand, some people still believe that it helps to use ear devices just like how the use of sunglasses helps in protecting the eyes from the glare of the sun. Electronic noise suppression devices are also said to be helpful although their consequent is not as great as those other passive methods. Sound generators or maskers are used for brain and nervous ideas conditioning to make these systems tolerant to the sounds and noise. They function like hearing aids but want monthly readjustment for gradual desensitization.

One prominent thing to keep in mind to make this work is to give this method commitment and time.

Psychological therapy may also be used to gain hyperacusis rehabilitation as hyperacusis is often accompanied with depression or anxiety. In this instance, a consultation with a psychiatrist or psychologist or any devotee on this field can be unmistakably helpful. If you will learn how to ignore hyperacusis rather than stress yourself about it, then you can unmistakably handle your condition better.
